Chelsea

The property was a quintessential Kensington residence—a six-storey terraced townhouse complete with an indoor swimming pool, gym, and sauna. One of the primary objectives of the project was to make the home fully wheelchair accessible. This involved the installation of a new lift and staircase, widened doorways, and multiple hoists. Part of the basement was also reconfigured to accommodate live-in staff and an oxygen chamber.

The colour scheme was kept neutral to complement the existing, newly refinished woodwork. In the double reception room, the walls were adorned with a silk-effect wallcovering, while furnishings from Christian Liaigre and Giorgetti elevated the space. The muted tones throughout allowed the clients’ extensive art collection to take centre stage in every room.
